Riding in the backseat, he would peer straight out the window.
A squinted eye and spaceship in his hand.
A boy will use his dreams to fuel his plans.
Off to the sun, up would look everyone

And now he is a grown-up in the world’s most boring movie.
All cameras pointing elsewhere, fickle fame
A cast of thousands does not know his name.
He's not in the credits, his life needs an edit.

And when his wings break
He’ll be falling down.
You… you won't hear when he
Hits the ground

Now we're at the slow part where he stares into the mirror.
Shaves his face and shuffles off to work
CSA typecasted as “a jerk"
He’s played this scene before, he only has to do 6,000 more.

He hopes and prays his screenplay will can find a better agent.
But no one wants to option War and Peace.
He needs to trim it down to say the least.
Spoiler alert, the real world hurts.
